Dream Land on late afternoon. The pink-puffball, Kirby, sleeps on a tree branch as carefree as ever. Suddenly, a portal opens underneath him. Kirby wakes up to see what is going on.
Kirby: Oh? Poyo... (jumps down) Kirby?
From the portal, the princess and Guardian of the Sol Emeralds, Blaze the Cat, and the Aura Pokemon, Lucario, come out to greet Kirby.
Blaze: Hello, Kirby. Long time no see.
Kirby: Blay! Luh-cayo! (backflips in joy) Poyo, poyo!
Blaze: It's good to see you too, Kirby.
